Kathy Griffin at the Kodak Theater

I don't know why I started to watch "Kathy Griffin: My life on the D-list". I think it was the name of the show that caught my attention. The only think I know for sure is that I started watching it in 2006 and couldn't stop... It's hilarious. To be honest, I didn't know who Kathy Griffin was... actually, I remembered her from Suddenly Susan but I didn't know her name. But how should I know? "She is not Nicole Kidman".

Anyway, now I know and I love her. She is so hilarious. I read people saying that she is annoying, star wannabe, anti-christ (and I AM Catholic)... blah blah blah... but I disagree with all of them hahahaha I think she can be annoying but that's the funny thing about her. She doesn't have the best voice in the world... well my voice is nothing special either so who cares? Star wannabe? At least she admits she is... Anti-Christ? Well... I don't think she is anti-christ, I think she is just atheist... and I believe people can be whatever they want to be. Anyway, I am not here to defend Kathy. I don't even know her. hahahaha

Anyway, last month I saw that she was going to perform at the Kodak Theater, so I told my boyfriend: OMG! We are going to see Kathy Griffin next month. YAY!!! I am not sure if he was happy about it hahahaha but he said: cool!!! A month passed and I TOTALLY forgot about it and didn't buy tickets hahahaha but then my CUTEST thing came to me last thursday and said: We are going to see Kathy Griffin this saturday. First, I didn't understand... Kathy Griffin? What's that? hahahaha Then I was like OOOOh THE Kathy Griffin? He was like: Yeah. OMG I got so happy. But what made me happy was the fact that he knew I wanted to see this show and he bought the tickets. That was so darling !!!!!!!! He's the best!!!!

Anyway, We saw her yesterday and my sides hurt from laughing. OMG she is so funny. But the funniest thing was that my boyfriend liked her but he didn't get half of the jokes hahahahaha well he doesn't know and care about any celebrity. THANK GOD!!!!!! hahaha

OMG! our seats were so bad hahahaha when he bought the tickets, it was almost sold out so the only seats available were those seats on the top. And OMFG that thing is high... fuc* I got dizzy at first. There is no protection. I got almost paranoid. I couldn't concentrate before the show started. OMG! You have to walk btw legs and purses and the thing is so small that people cannot even stand up for you to pass... a nightmare. I am afraid of high so I started to sweat. I thought I was gonna fall and die. I am sure Kathy would love this kind of publicity. hahahaha

Anyway, the show started and I got better... but she was so small from where I was that I had to watch her from the screen. It was like I was in a very uncomfortable sofa at home hahahaha

But the show was great. I loved it. My favorite thing was when she said: "Straight guys, Wake Up!!" And my boyfriend started to laugh... priceless...

After the show... OMFG... I have never seen a line to get to the escalators. OMFG!!! It took like 15 minutes just to get into the car. Then hours to try to get out of the parking lot. We gave up and parked the car again and went to get something to eat. One hour later, it was still crowded... Jesus!!!! Thank god she is funny. Otherwise I would haaaaate all this. hehehe

Happy Holidays !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holidays are coming. This is that special time to spend with our family... people we love. If you don't have a real family, I am sure you have someone who you consider as your family. A friend, girlfriend, boyfriend... a dog... It doesn't matter as long as you are in a room full of love, you are going to be just fine. I love this time of the year. That's the time I get to see all my family... grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins... I am proudly to say that I have the best family in the world. My family is so funny and full of light. Everybody is happy and healthy... I feel blessed. My parents are just amazing... in their own way but they are amazing. My sibblings are the best... I BET I have the best ones. No kidding. They are gorgeous and talented. It is crazy!!!! It is so good to think about them and the christmas' party

especially because I am not going home this year. I am so sad that it's not even funny.

I hate that. I am all alone here in the U.S now and it sucks. I wasn't able to find any flight for less than $2000. So I am not going BUT I just got the best news ever... My beautiful mother is coming to spend christmas with me. I couldn't be happier. She's going to stay 15 days here with me. I couldn't ask for more. Santa gave me the best christmas' gift EVER. I miss her terribly. I don't understand how people can leave without seeing their family at all. I can't !!! I miss my mom. She makes me feel good. She always thinks I am "too thin" (I wish!!!), or that I am prettier than any other woman in the room. And she is not only coming but she also bringing a lot of gifts. YAY!!!! I just want to wish everybody good Holiday. And do me a favor, hug your mom, dad, sibblings... give a lot of hugs this holiday. Tell the people you love that you love them. That changes so much.... I love everybody and I hope that everyone in the world will have a great time.

I totally support the writers but I am getting annoying with all the actors using it for publicity. They join them and bummm they are on the news... gimme a break.

Can you imagine how ridiculous whould that be if instead of the writers, the actors were ono strike? hahahahaha Strike for what? More Prada shoes?

Oh... and the funny thing is that now people are going to where the writers are to see celebrities... how bizarre?!

I am 100% with the writers BUT I think that we all should go on strike too... No one should watch any Tv show for a week or more...

The Black Box...

I was never a big fan of TV. I'd rather watch movies but for some reason, I've caught myself watching too much TV. I am kinda following a lot of tv shows. I remember that the only tv shows I used to follow on tv were Friends and Beverly Hill 90210. Friends was actually almost a obsession. I still watch it. I have the dvds... I have a mug ... and a picture of their building that I took ... the first time I went to NY. But now, I have a big list of tv shows I am following... Is it crazy? I can't wait for the new season of Lost. Seriously, I can't wait. The first and the second season of Lost were AMAZING. The third season I hated at first but the last two episodes were owwwwwwww... fantastic. My favorite character is Locke. That actor is so good... I like Sayid a lot too... I don't like Kate. Jesus, she is anoying...
Another show is Desperate Housewives. I L.O.V.E it. OMG. I love this show... I love Susan and Lynette. Susan is so much like me... it scares me...
Gray's Anatomy is my new passion... Actually I just started watching it and I am loving it. I rented all the dvds (of all seasons). My favorites are Dr. Bailey, Burk, Yang , O'Malley and Izzie. I kinda think Gray can be very funny sometimes...
One of my favorite is Entourage. Jeeeesus I love this show. Drama, Ari and Lloyd put me in a good mood everytime.
Simpsons is always good. Homer is the best TV character ever made.
The new series this season are not that great. The only one I really liked was Pushing Daises. Actually I liked it a lot. Very nice dark humor...
The worst show of this season... well... Bionic woman really sucks and Aliens in America was the worst thing EVER made. It is so insulting... should be prohibited. I was an exchanged student once myself and I can understand that it can be hard for both family and student not because of the differences but because they simply don't know each other. The student goes to a house of a family he never saw and the family opens the door of their house for a person they never saw. But on the other hand, it is an amazing experience. In my case, the culture was not different so I didn't feel weird or felt they were weird... I can understand that some cultures can be very different but it is NOT like the way they show it. This show sucks. It is insulting, it's not funny at all... Anyway... the show is ridiculous. And... it is so racist and full of stereotypes. Grrrrr... too bad.
Why can't people just accept other cultures and respect them? I don't get it. And people should respect the other person's religion too. I am catholic but I respect all the other religions.
