4th of July ou Quatro de Julho eh quase que um Reveillon no meio do ano. Milhares nas ruas, gente bebada e animada. Fogos de artificios a noite. Praias e parques lotados. Todo mundo a espera dos fogos. Chegam cedo. Ao meio dia ja ta tudo lotado. Me lembrei do Reveillon em Copacabana onde voce tem que chegar cedo ou entao nao consegue assistir aos fogos. Feriado no meio da semana eh sempre bom. Nao importa o que se comemora. Pra mim hoje comemorei um dia inteiro com meu namorado no meio da semana. Coisa rara. Resolvemos ir ao cinema assistir Transformers. Que filmezinho ruin. Eu na verdade nunca teria escolhido esse filme mas meu namorado queria tanto assistir... nao deu pra dizer nao. Quase tres horas de barulho e coisas voando. Filme de acao eh sempre um saco. Vou te falar...
Quando chegamos ao cinema, a fila ja estava enorme para esse filme, conseguimos comprar ingresso mas nao conseguimos arrumar nenhum lugar bom pra sentar. Na verdade eu sabia que lugar bom seria dificil mas estava esperando pelo menos por um lugar razoavel. Nao achamos. Pedimos para trocar a sessao, fomos super bem atendidos e escolhemos um otimo acento.
Depois da sessao tortura, assistir ao jogo do Brasil. Que timezinho mais ou menos que nos arrumaram. Coitado do Robinho.
Logo depois... festinha meio furreca.
A noite, os fogos. O Reveillon de Julho dos Americanos. Foi bastante divertido.
Por causa dos meus amigos americanos, vou escrever em ingles e portugues. Se eu tiver saco. Se nao, eles que procurem um tradutor online. hahahaha

4th of july is like a "New year's eve" in the middle of the year. Thousands of people packed the streets. Happy-drunk people. Fireworks at night. The beaches and Parks were all crowded. Everybody was waiting to see the fireworks. They came early. At 12 everything was full. It reminds me the new year’s eve in Copacabana. If you don’t come early, you won’t be able to watch the fireworks.
Holiday in the middle of the week is always good. It doesn’t matter what you are celebrating. Today, I celebrated a whole day with my boyfriend (in the middle of the week). A Rare thing. We decided to go to the movies. My boyfriend wanted to watch Transformers. Gosh!! This movie sucks. I would never choose this one but he really wanted to see it. I couldn’t say no. Almost 3 hours of loud noises and flying things. Action movie is always bad.
When we got at the movie theater, they already had a huge line for this film. We were able to find tickets but we didn’t find any good seat. I knew it would be like this but I thought we would find something but we didn’t. We asked to watch the same movie in another room and they treated us pretty well letting us in to the other room without complaining. After the torture, we went home to see the Copa America. Brazil was playing. What a so so team we have now. Poor Robinho.
